Riverbend Golf & Country Club

Riverbend Golf & Country Club is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to assist with the financial administration of our golf course operations. This position is ideal for an experienced bookkeeping professional who is comfortable working independently and has strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online.

Position Summary

The Part-Time Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with monthly reporting, reconciling accounts, managing accounts payable and receivable, and supporting management with day-to-day accounting functions.

Responsibilities

· Maintain financial records using QuickBooks Online (QBO)

· Process accounts payable and accounts receivable

· Reconcile bank and credit card accounts

· Prepare and maintain monthly financial statements and reports

· Record daily sales and revenue from golf, food and beverage, memberships, and events

· Review and reconcile Point-of-Sale and Tee Sheet reporting

· Assist with payroll administration and payroll reporting

· Prepare government remittances including HST filings

· Maintain organized electronic and physical financial records

· Assist management with budgeting and cash flow reporting

· Work with external accountants during year-end preparation

· Ensure financial information is accurate, timely, and confidential

Qualifications

· Previous bookkeeping experience required

· Proficiency with QuickBooks Online

· Experience with payroll processing considered an asset

· Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

· Excellent organizational and time-management skills

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

· Experience in golf, hospitality, recreation, or food and beverage operations is considered an asset

Schedule

· Part-time position

· Approximately 10–20 hours per week

· Flexible schedule based on business needs

· Some remote work may be considered for qualified candidates

Compensation

· Competitive hourly wage based on experience and qualifications
