Job Title: Database (SQL) Developer

Location: Remote (India-based)

Work Hours: IST Shift (2:00 PM – 11:00 PM)

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Database (SQL) Developer with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience. The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on experience in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, performance tuning, and working with large-scale relational databases. You will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing database systems that support mission-critical applications for our US-based clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and views.

Design and maintain database schemas, tables, indexes, and constraints.

Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve database issues and performance bottlenecks.

Work closely with application developers to design effective database structures and integrations.

Ensure data integrity, security, and availability across environments.

Support ETL processes and data migration efforts as needed.

Monitor database performance and implement best practices for tuning and optimization.

Prepare technical documentation and assist in data modeling and schema design.

Required Qualifications:

3+ years of hands-on experience with SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle).

Proficiency in writing stored procedures, triggers, functions, and complex joins.

Solid understanding of database design principles, normalization, and indexing strategies.

Experience with query optimization, performance tuning, and execution plan analysis.

Familiarity with data backup, restore, and recovery processes.

Basic understanding of data integration and working with large datasets.

Strong communication skills in English.

Comfortable working independently in a remote setting aligned to IST hours (2 PM – 11 PM).
