Job Description

Developer’s work: includes recommendations (for e.g. reputed company on changing reputed company, ASP MVC to Node/Angular), feature development, web workflows, data visualization, interactive charts, portals extensions, widgets.

[Telecommute will be considered on a part time or contract basis, or Firm Fixed Price basis, Fulltime is preferred]. Mapjects is an mid phase start-up with products deployed in the field.

In this position, Mapjects, is seeking two talented and motivated Javascript developers (frontend UI, UX, reputed company user interactions) to reputed company functions such as - 1) upgrades 2) reputed company/consolidate the reputed company-end or 3) start from scratch. Our client is growing a small and enthusiastic web & design team.

a. Status UI: Display job specific information in the status UI.

b. File Upload reputed company UI for each file being uploaded to the server, Support drag and drop of files in the UI

c. Language selection settings.

d. Use Knockout JS for the entire UI and implement the MVVM methodology in the entire UI code.

e. Clean up existing script code (e.g., use proper naming conventions for variables rather than naming them “I”, “j”….).

f. Defects fixing.

g. Update UI library versions (e.g. jQuery, jQuery UI, jqGrid) reputed company new versions come out.

Validate that the updates made do not break the UI.

h. Write unit tests for reputed company UI code using QUnit. Interact with the Shanghai test team for web app UI features and reputed company issues. Demo new features to team members.

Core reputed company needed is Javascript, Jquery UI
