Job Description
As a Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for handling inbound/outbound customs and logistics support for smooth materials and vehicle movement between various ports to Kakinada and vice versa. Your primary focus will be on coordinating with customs authorities, managing reverse logistics for repairs and refurbishment abroad, and providing base support to the RCP-Import Team.

- Managing reverse logistics for repairs and refurbishment abroad
- Providing base support to RCP-Import Team in inbound and outbound logistics
- Coordinating with customs seniors for various issues
- Monitoring cargo movement and ensuring material arrives in order with documents
- Handling claims for damage/shortages
- Coordinating with various stakeholders for import cargo customs clearance and vehicle placement
- Assisting with import and re-export documentation, logistics, and customs-related matters
- Handling hazmat items disposals, permissions for storage of goods inside the port, and exports to air logistics department
- Handling show cause notices and representing the company in customs meetings
- Coordinating exports to other shorebases
Qualifications Required:
- Graduate with PG Degree in Export Import/Materials Management
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Supply Chain Management with 5 years in Customs Clearance
- Experience in E&P (Oil & Gas) industry preferred
The Logistics Specialist should have a thorough understanding of customs and GST laws, HSN classification, shipping for export and import, ERP systems, INCO terms, and international trade regulations. Good communication skills in English and local language are essential. Experience in export, import, foreign trade, insurance, transportation, and working with custom bonded goods and SEZs is desirable. Familiarity with SAP MM Module, MS Office, inspection, and audits is a plus.
