ABOUT REDIAL CLINIC
ReDiaL Clinic is a metabolic reversal and lifestyle medicine clinic in South Delhi. We reverse Type 2 Diabetes, Hypertension, and Obesity through doctor-led, evidence-based protocols. Our members are real people — 35 to 65 years old, dealing with real health challenges — who have come to us because they want their life back, not just a gym plan.
Fitness is one of the three pillars of everything we do. The Senior Fitness Coach owns that pillar entirely — not just for individual members, but for the standard of coaching across the entire team.
WHAT THIS ROLE IS
This is a senior coaching role that demands both depth and range. You will be working with a diverse membership base, people who are serious about fixing there metabolic disorder, getting stronger, building muscle, improving their functional fitness, and staying consistent over the long term. The quality of their results depends entirely on the quality of the person building and running their programme.
You will conduct assessments, design individualised fitness plans, run 1:1 training sessions, and review progress at structured intervals. You will also lead and develop the coaching team, setting the programming standard, auditing plans, and making sure every coach at ReDiaL is operating at the level our members deserve.
Certification and technical knowledge are foundational requirements, you must know your programming principles, your exercise ratios, your periodisation frameworks, and your strength and hypertrophy science thoroughly. But equally, you need to be the kind of coach that a person who has never prioritised fitness actually responds to. Credibility on the floor, warmth in the relationship, and the ability to meet people where they are these matter as much as what you know.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS (KRAS)
Member Fitness Assessment
- Conduct comprehensive baseline assessments for new and existing members — covering strength, mobility, cardiovascular fitness, body composition, and functional movement
- Design an individual fitness profile for each member based on their current level, goals, and any health considerations
- Reassess at defined intervals and update profiles — track progress objectively, not by feel
- Identify members who are stagnating or regressing and proactively adjust their plan before they disengage
- Document all assessments on the designated platform accurately and on time
2
Strength & Fitness Planning
- Build personalised, periodised fitness plans for members across the active base — covering strength training, functional fitness, muscle gain, cardiovascular conditioning, and mobility
- Plans must reflect proper programming principles: progressive overload, volume and intensity management, exercise sequencing, rest and recovery cycles
- Know your ratios — work-to-rest, sets-to-reps, training frequency per muscle group, deload timing — and apply them correctly in every plan
- Adapt plans based on member progress, feedback, life schedule, and any health flags communicated by the clinical team
- Ensure plans are member-friendly in language and structure — a member should be able to follow their plan independently on off-days
3
Training Sessions & Coaching
- Conduct 1:1 training sessions with members as part of their structured fitness plan — coaching form, cueing movement, correcting technique, and progressing them safely
- Lead group sessions where relevant — with the same standard of attention, precision, and energy as a 1:1
- Be present and genuinely invested in every session — members should leave feeling better than when they walked in
- Track session performance: what was done, how the member responded, what to adjust next time
- Balance member motivation with programming precision — push people who need to be pushed, hold back people who are overdoing it
4
Progress Reviews & Metrics
- Run structured progress reviews at regular intervals — strength benchmarks, body composition changes, endurance improvements, functional movement quality
- Present progress data to members in a way they can understand and care about — not just numbers on a sheet
- Set the next cycle's targets based on what the data shows, not what the member wishes
- Flag members who are not progressing despite adherence — identify whether the issue is the plan, the nutrition, the sleep, or the clinical picture
- Maintain a clean, updated record of every member's progress history
5
Team Leadership & Coach Auditing
- Lead the fitness coaching team — set standards, conduct regular plan audits, review session logs, and give structured feedback to each coach
- Audit fitness plans written by other coaches for correctness, safety, and programming quality — approve, return for revision, or rewrite where needed
- Identify gaps in each coach's knowledge or approach and run in-house training sessions to address them
- Build a coaching culture where precision, accountability, and member outcomes are the measure — not hours on the floor
- Be the escalation point for any member-related coaching issues or complaints within the fitness team
6
Member Engagement & Retention
- Build genuine relationships with members — know their names, their goals, their struggles, and what keeps them coming back
- Be approachable and credible to a general, non-fitness-first audience — the member who does not prioritise exercise needs to feel understood, not judged
- Proactively re-engage members who are drifting or becoming inconsistent
- Communicate progress wins — celebrate milestones, reinforce momentum, and keep members connected to why they started
- Represent ReDiaL's fitness brand with energy, professionalism, and warmth in every interaction
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Someone who commands respect on the floor without demanding it. Who can look at a member's programme and immediately see what is working, what is not, and why. Who runs a 1:1 session with the same precision as they write a plan — and writes a plan with the same care as they run a session. Who makes a junior coach better just by working alongside them.
- Programming knowledge that goes beyond instinct — periodisation, progressive overload, deload cycles, volume landmarks applied deliberately
- Assessments that are thorough, documented, and acted on — not just a formality before training begins
- Reviews that are honest — tells members what the data shows, not what they want to hear
- The team improves under them — coach audits are specific, constructive, and followed through
- Certifications are current and knowledge is live — reading, learning, applying
- Members who do not prioritise fitness start to — because of how this person shows up
- Equally comfortable with a structured strength block and a mobility-first functional session
QUALIFICATIONS & BACKGROUND
REQUIRED
- Certified Personal Trainer — ACE, NASM, ACSM, ISSA, or equivalent internationally recognised certification. Mandatory, non-negotiable.
- 5–10 years of hands-on coaching experience with a demonstrated track record of member results
- Deep working knowledge of strength training, hypertrophy programming, functional fitness, and mobility work
- Experience managing a large member base (20+ members) simultaneously with individualised plans
- Experience leading, mentoring, or auditing other fitness coaches
- Strong grasp of exercise science fundamentals — muscle mechanics, energy systems, progressive overload principles, recovery physiology
- Confident, warm, and credible communicator — equally effective with a seasoned athlete and a first-time gym-goer
PREFERRED (STRONG ADVANTAGE)
- Additional specialisation in Nutrition for Performance, Corrective Exercise, or Sports Conditioning
- Experience working in a clinical, wellness, or medically supervised fitness environment
- Familiarity with fitness tech — wearables, HRV, body composition tools, fitness tracking apps
- Background in working with 35–65-year-old members with lifestyle health goals, not just athletic performance
- Experience building or leading a fitness team from the ground up
- Knowledge of how exercise interacts with metabolic conditions — diabetes, hypertension, obesity
- Comfortable with documentation and digital tools for plan management and progress tracking
WHAT WE OFFER
- A leadership role with real ownership — you set the fitness standard, you build the team, you run the programme
- A member base of 30–40+ people who are genuinely invested in their health outcomes, not just showing up
- A clinical environment where your work directly supports measurable health outcomes — HbA1c drops, medication reductions, BP normalisation
- A team to lead and develop — with the authority to audit plans, train coaches, and raise the bar
- Competitive compensation reflecting a senior, high-responsibility role
- A fast-growing brand with a clear vision — the fitness infrastructure is being built now, and you build it with us
