Job description

We are seeking an experienced SEO & E-Commerce Optimization Specialist to join a growing online retail organization. This hands-on role is ideal for a technically strong SEO professional who enjoys identifying opportunities, implementing solutions, and driving measurable growth in organic traffic and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

Lead technical SEO initiatives to improve crawlability, indexation, site architecture, and search visibility.
Optimize category, product, and content pages for organic performance.
Implement SEO enhancements directly within Shopify themes and templates.
Manage structured data, metadata, redirects, internal linking, and keyword mapping.
Conduct technical SEO audits and recommend actionable improvements.
Monitor website performance and collaborate on Core Web Vitals enhancements.
Analyze performance data and identify opportunities for traffic and revenue growth.
Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into website updates and content initiatives.
Stay current on search engine developments, AI-driven search trends, and evolving SEO best practices.

Qualifications

5+ years of SEO experience, preferably within e-commerce.
Strong technical SEO expertise, including site architecture, crawl/indexation, structured data, and internal linking.
Hands-on Shopify experience required.
Working knowledge of Liquid, HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
Experience with Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Bilingual English/French is considered a strong asset.
