Role Description This full-time Java Developer (Fintech) role is a hybrid position based in the Greater Bengaluru Area, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. The Java Developer will design, develop, test, and maintain fintech applications and services using Java and related frameworks. Day-to-day activities include writing clean, efficient, and secure code; building and integrating microservices; collaborating with product managers, business analysts, and other developers to translate requirements into technical solutions; and participating in code reviews and technical discussions. The role also involves troubleshooting production issues, optimizing performance, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and security standards, and contributing to continuous improvement of development processes and tools.

Qualifications

• Strong Java and Programming skills, with the ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Hands-on experience in Software Development, including the full software development lifecycle (design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance).
• Proficiency in Microservices architecture, including building, integrating, and scaling distributed services.
• Practical experience with Spring Framework (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security) for backend application development.
• Understanding of fintech domain concepts, financial systems, or payment platforms is highly beneficial.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, relational and/or NoSQL databases, and version control systems (such as Git).
• Knowledge of secure coding practices, performance optimization, and troubleshooting in production environments.
• Ability to work effectively in hybrid teams, communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and collaborate in an agile environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
