About the Company

We own 2 businesses. RealEstateTaxTips.ca is Canada’s online Chartered Professional Accounting (CPA) firm serving real estate investors, real estate agents, stock option investors and small service-based businesses. OTUS Group is a Canadian financial services organization delivering specialized CFO services and outsourced financial management to nonprofit organizations throughout Ottawa and Toronto. We act as an embedded finance department for our clients — paying bills, processing invoices, managing month-end closes, preparing for audits, and handling everything in between.

We’re a 28-person team that works closely remotely and together at our Oakville office and through online tools like Karbon, Quickbooks Online, Ignition, Teams and Microsoft 365 softwares, etc.

About the Role

We build multi-step AI agent pipelines that automate complex business workflows, including intake routing, content processing, data extraction, and autonomous task orchestration.

In this role, you will work directly with our Senior AI Lead and an overseeing software developer to learn the craft while shipping practical tools that clients use.

This role is designed for builders, not theorists. If you have automated something that saved real time, learned a new tool over a weekend, and can clearly explain why your agent broke, we would like to hear from you.

What You’ll Build

• Multi-step agent workflows using tools similar to n8n, LangGraph, and related automation platforms
• Prompt templates, agent personas, and tool definitions
• Handoff documentation that our development team can maintain and extend

What We’re Looking For

• At least one shipped automation project using any platform, such as Zapier, Make, n8n, LangChain, or complex spreadsheet automation
• Curiosity about how large language models fail, not just how they succeed
• Strong writing skills, as you will write prompts, specifications, and documentation regularly
• Comfort learning new tools quickly; platform knowledge can be taught, but systems thinking is essential
• Based in or willing to commute to Oakville, Ontario for a hybrid arrangement

You Don’t Need

• A computer science degree, although it is helpful
• Experience specifically with our technology stack; we will train you
• Years of work experience; portfolio and demonstrated ability carry more weight than work history

Pay: $50,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
