We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Software Engineer specializing in the Ada programming language to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to complex systems development as part of the Patriot Software Development Team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance software applications in Ada for complex systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features that ensure system integration and scalability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing code for enhanced performance and efficiency.
• Document software applications comprehensively, including system architecture and design specifications.
• Participate in code reviews, maintaining coding standards and best practices.
• Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in technology relevant to complex systems.
• Be prepared for occasional light travel and off-hours testing (2nd or 3rd shift).
• Opportunity to advance into a Software Task Leadership role.
• This position requires exclusive onsite presence.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in developing complex systems and applications using Ada.
• Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen; eligibility for a government-issued security clearance is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance.
• Strong background in software design principles, algorithms, and data structures, especially for high-concurrency and distributed systems.
• Experience with additional programming languages like C/C++ and Java.
• Knowledge of multithreading, memory management, and performance optimization techniques.

The salary range for this role is $86,800 - $165,200. This estimate reflects the diverse experience levels considered for the position. Factors such as role responsibilities, work experience, education, and skills inform the final compensation offer.
