Responsibilities

Position Summary

Train to act as Shift Leader, operating the restaurant in the absence of the Senior/General Manager and assisting in achieving sales growth by maintaining the highest standards in quality, service, cleanliness, profitability and operating standards.

Essential Functions

• Supervise shifts and maintain company standards for quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Train and develop crew members.
• Maintain cooperative, harmonious working relationships with management and crew.
• Assist with crew duties as needed.
• Conduct crew meetings before shift to discuss operations, promotions, safety, security, training, etc.
• Manage labor cost to meet company standards.
• Control inventory to meet company GAP standards.
• Maintain reports and records per company standards and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain building and equipment per operating, cleaning, preventive maintenance procedures.
• Responsible for cash handling during shift, including bank deposits and procedures.
• Ensure personal appearance meets company standard and displays professionalism.
• Enforce HR, sanitation, safety, and security policies to provide a safe environment.
• Consistently demonstrate BNE’s vision and values and represent Boddie‑Noell as a professional in all aspects of performance.
• Perform other tasks as directed by management.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must meet physical demands required of the role.
• Must be able to lead, recognize, and train successful talent.
• 1 year of shift management experience.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen.
• Preferably possess a valid driver’s license.
• Enjoy working in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
• Consistent and reliable.
