Responsibilities
Position Summary
Train to act as Shift Leader, operating the restaurant in the absence of the Senior/General Manager and assisting in achieving sales growth by maintaining the highest standards in quality, service, cleanliness, profitability and operating standards.
Essential Functions
- Supervise shifts and maintain company standards for quality, service, and cleanliness.
- Train and develop crew members.
- Maintain cooperative, harmonious working relationships with management and crew.
- Assist with crew duties as needed.
- Conduct crew meetings before shift to discuss operations, promotions, safety, security, training, etc.
- Manage labor cost to meet company standards.
- Control inventory to meet company GAP standards.
- Maintain reports and records per company standards and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain building and equipment per operating, cleaning, preventive maintenance procedures.
- Responsible for cash handling during shift, including bank deposits and procedures.
- Ensure personal appearance meets company standard and displays professionalism.
- Enforce HR, sanitation, safety, and security policies to provide a safe environment.
- Consistently demonstrate BNE’s vision and values and represent Boddie‑Noell as a professional in all aspects of performance.
- Perform other tasks as directed by management.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must meet physical demands required of the role.
- Must be able to lead, recognize, and train successful talent.
- 1 year of shift management experience.
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen.
- Preferably possess a valid driver’s license.
- Enjoy working in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
- Consistent and reliable.
