Role Overview:

As a Business Intelligence Specialist at RateGain, a prominent B2B SaaS company in the travel and hospitality industry, you will play a pivotal role within the sales operations team. Leveraging your 3-4 years of experience as a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for the critical analysis of sales and marketing data, with a focus on enhancing decision-making processes. Reporting to senior management, you will compile performance reports, establish analytics tools, and support process improvements and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize your expertise to prepare comprehensive monthly business reviews for multiple products and verticals. This will involve in-depth data analysis, trend identification, and actionable insights.
  • CRM Data Management: Streamline and maintain data within our CRM system, ensuring data accuracy and completeness. Collaborate with the sales team to optimize CRM workflows.
  • Support Leadership Teams: Provide valuable support to CXOs, business leaders, and commercial heads by addressing their analytical needs. You will be a key resource for decision-making, offering data-driven recommendations.
  • Dashboard Development: Create interactive dashboards and analytical tools using BI software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to facilitate process improvement and support strategic initiatives. These dashboards should be user-friendly and dynamic for real-time insights.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Be prepared to conduct ad hoc analyses as required by various stakeholders, responding to urgent data requests and providing insights promptly.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as B.TECH (Bachelor of Technology) or a similar quantitative discipline.
  • 3-4 years of proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, demonstrating a strong command of data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools, including Tableau, Power BI, or similar software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to convert data into actionable insights.
