Site Incharge for Municipal Dumpyard

1. Operations Management (24x7)

• Ensure continuous functioning of transfer station across all shifts.
• Supervise waste receipt, segregation (if applicable), compaction, and dispatch.
• Monitor daily waste inflow and outflow quantities (TPD basis).
• Ensure timely loading and transportation to processing/disposal sites.
• Avoid bottlenecks, spillage, and operational delays.

2. Manpower & Shift Management

• Deploy and manage shift-wise manpower (supervisors, operators, helpers, drivers).
• Prepare shift rosters ensuring full coverage (day/night).
• Maintain discipline, attendance, and productivity.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings.

3. Equipment & Fleet Management

• Ensure availability and uptime of:
• Compactors
• Hook loaders
• Tippers
• JCBs / loaders
• Coordinate with maintenance team for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Maintain logbooks for equipment usage and fuel consumption.

4. Compliance & Safety

• Ensure adherence to:
• Municipal contract conditions
• Pollution control norms
• SWM Rules (Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016 – India)
• Enforce PPE usage and safety protocols.
• Manage fire safety, leachate control, odor control, and housekeeping.
• Maintain incident/accident reports.

5. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain and submit:
• Daily MIS reports (waste handled, trips, fuel, downtime)
• Attendance & wage records
• Vehicle movement logs
• Coordinate with municipal officials for inspections and reporting.
• Ensure billing support data accuracy (trip sheets, weighbridge data).

6. Stakeholder Coordination

• Liaise with:
• Municipal authorities
• Transport contractors
• Local administration
• Handle public complaints related to odor, spillage, or traffic.

7. Site Maintenance & Housekeeping

• Ensure cleanliness of entire transfer station.
• Manage:
• Drainage and leachate systems
• Vector control (flies, rodents)
• Maintain proper waste stacking and movement zones.

8. Crisis & Escalation Handling

• Handle emergencies such as:
• Equipment breakdown
• Fire incidents
• Overflow of waste
• Escalate critical issues to management in real-time.

Pay: From ₹35,000.00 per month
