WHAT YOU'LL DO

We are seeking a detail-oriented and execution-focused Licensing Associate to support global licensing strategy, regulatory applications and communications, and license maintenance for our stablecoin and related financial services products. This role will work cross-functionally with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Finance, Product, and external counsel to prepare, submit, and manage regulatory applications across multiple jurisdictions.

This is a high-impact role ideal for someone with experience in financial services licensing, fintech, payments, banking, or digital assets who thrives in fast-paced, evolving regulatory environments.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 5-10 years of experience in financial services licensing, regulatory compliance, fintech, payments, banking, or digital assets.
  • Familiarity with regulatory regimes such as money transmission, e-money, VASP/virtual asset licensing, or similar frameworks.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple concurrent regulatory workstreams.

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT MANDATORY

  • Experience working at a fintech, crypto, stablecoin, payments, or banking institution.
  • Exposure to global licensing regimes (U.S. state MTLs, EU EMI/PI licenses, MAS, FCA, VARA, etc.).
  • Experience coordinating with regulators or external counsel.
  • Understanding of AML/CFT, sanctions compliance, and risk frameworks.
  • Legal or compliance background (JD not required).
