Job Title: Full Stack Developer (SME Level)

Location: Jackson, MS (Onsite)

Duration: 1 Year

Position Overview

We are seeking a third-level professional Full Stack Developer accountable for performing complex technical assignments. This role involves the development of new or improved applications, processes, and techniques.

The selected contractor will be responsible for application design, development, security, validation, evaluation, and implementation. The role requires solving complex problems involving in-depth analysis of multiple technical factors and providing advanced technical support. The individual will also mentor less experienced staff.

A primary responsibility includes upgrading multiple existing applications to the latest .NET Core version and implementing database and functional enhancements to improve application performance and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement enterprise applications
• Upgrade legacy applications to the latest .NET Core version
• Modify databases and application functionality to enhance performance and usability
• Ensure application and database security, privacy, and compliance
• Configure and manage IIS environments
• Work within Windows Server environments (2016–2025)
• Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support
• Develop documentation and conduct knowledge transfer
• Mentor junior technical staff
• Perform occasional off-hour work for testing and patching

Mandatory Qualifications

Candidates must meet all of the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
• 7+ years of direct experience creating applications in multiple programming languages
• 5+ years of direct experience in database design and administration
• 5+ years of experience in application and database security, privacy, and compliance

Required Technical Skills

Operating Systems

• Windows Server (2016, 2019, 2022, 2025) – Intermediate or higher

Programming & Development

• .NET Core – SME level (7+ years)
• C# – SME level
• Advanced knowledge of .NET Framework and VB.NET
• Advanced knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL)

Database & Web Technologies

• Microsoft SQL – Advanced
• IIS 11 – Advanced
• Proficiency in IIS configuration

Additional Requirements

• Strong documentation and knowledge transfer experience
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

Preferred Skills

• IBM DB2
• Red Hat Linux (zLinux, SUSE experience beneficial)
• Drupal Content Management System.
