We’re looking for our next

Manager Finance Business Partner.

Could It Be You?

Working under the direction of the Director, Finance Business Partner, the incumbent supports the business leaders in Corporate Functions by providing financial analysis and management reporting on Questrade’s businesses.

This role will primarily support the finance needs of Questrade’s enterprise shared services groups including client service, finance, compliance and people & culture in the ongoing refinement and tracking of financial budget and forecasts (including relevant financial KPI’s), as well as the development of business cases for new initiatives.

This role will also work alongside the rest of the corporate FP&A team to provide accurate and timely management reporting to internal and external stakeholders at Questrade.

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Support business unit leaders with the preparation of financial forecasts and annual budgets.
• Provide monthly and annual operating results analysis against budget to business unit leaders and Executive teams
• Work closely with the People & Culture team and other members of the finance team in tracking and reporting on headcount
• Conduct various financial modeling projects on operational short-term and long-term strategic initiatives
• Track performance of business cases
• Develop and maintain financial models using various modeling methodologies, incl. statistical modeling, driver-based modeling, and financial valuation methods
• Pursue continuous improvement in business processes for FP&A
• Lead and assist with ad-hoc special projects within the Finance team as they may arise

? You are if you…

• Have a post secondary degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Have a CPA designation (or working towards)
• Have 5+ years of related work experience in FP&A, with at least 2 years at a leadership level
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with multiple levels of management, both verbally and in writing
• Pro-active and results-driven attitude
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure, maintain strong attention to detail and prioritize work within tight deadlines
• Advanced proficiency in Excel

Additional Kudos If You…

• Experience in financial/investment industry is an asset
• NetSuite and Oracle EPBCS experience is an asset

Compensation Information:

• Base salary range: $115,000 - $125,000
• The final compensation package will be commensurate with the successful candidate's experience, skills, and geographic location (Canada). It includes a comprehensive benefits plan and a competitive incentive (bonus) program for Full-Time Permanent roles.
