Mental Health Specialist

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mental Health Specialist based in Mumbai. The Mental Health Specialist will provide counseling services, conduct mental health assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapeutic interventions. The specialist will also offer support to individuals, groups, and families to address mental health challenges and promote overall well-being. Additionally, responsibilities include maintaining accurate documentation, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and staying informed about industry best practices and emerging treatments.

Qualifications

• Expertise in providing evidence-based therapy, counseling, and treatment planning
• Proficiency in conducting mental health assessments and implementing therapeutic interventions
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective engagement with individuals, groups, and families
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals
• Solid understanding of mental health regulations, ethics, and best practices
• Professional certification or licensure in mental health counseling, psychology, or social work
• Prior experience in a similar role is highly desirable
• Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
• Commitment to continued professional development and staying updated on new therapeutic methodologies
