Quantitative Risk Analyst Intern

Internship Description

Duration- 6 months

We are seeking a Quantitative Risk Analyst Intern with strong interest in trading operations, market risk, and quantitative environments. This role is ideal for candidates who have a foundational understanding of the stock market and possess NISM Series-VIII (Equity Derivatives) certification.

The intern will support daily trading operations, help ensure smooth trade execution, and assist in monitoring real-time market risks. Candidates with prior trading or market exposure will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

As a Risk Trading Intern, your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Assisting in monitoring order execution accuracy and trade flow.
• Coordinating with brokers under supervision to resolve minor trade-related issues.
• Supporting the verification of trade confirmations and internal reports.
• Monitoring live market data and alerting the team about any risk deviations or unusual activity.
• Helping maintain daily risk checklists and ensuring all processes are followed.
• Assisting with risk reporting, documentation, and operational compliance tasks.

Required Qualifications

• Mandatory: NISM Series-VIII (Equity Derivatives) certification.
• Strong understanding of stock market basics, equity/derivative concepts, order types, and trading mechanics.
• Good communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in high-speed trading environments.

Preferred Skills

• Prior exposure or experience in trading, paper trading, or managing personal portfolios.
• Hands-on familiarity with trading platforms like ODIN, XTS, or NEST (added advantage).
• Basic knowledge of risk parameters, margin requirements, and order execution flow.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
