We are currently seeking a Production Security Expert to join one of our clients in the financial sector, a major international bank based in Montreal

The Role

We are looking for an Application Support Analyst (AxiomSL) for one of our clients, an investment bank in Montreal. You will support and enhance US entity regulatory reporting, ensuring the accuracy and stability of critical reports (FR 2052a, FR Y-15).

Key Responsibilities

• AxiomSL Expert Support: Provide L2/L3 application support for the AxiomSL regulatory reporting platform and data warehouse.
• End-to-End Lifecycle: Support data sourcing, transformation, aggregation, validation, and report generation within Axiom.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Investigate data breaks, reconciliation issues, and validation failures; perform root cause analysis.
• Regulatory Compliance: Partner with Treasury teams to interpret instructions and implement changes within the system.
• Platform Evolution: Support regulatory change management, rule updates, patching, and platform optimization.
• Data Engineering: Develop and maintain data mappings and transformations using SQL and ETL processes.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Mandatory Technical Tool: Extensive experience with AxiomSL.
• Experience: 5+ years in Application Support within the Banking/Finance sector.
• Domain Knowledge: Solid experience supporting FR 2052a and FR Y-15 reports.
• Technical Stack: Strong PL/SQL and relational database skills (Oracle, SQL Server).
• Environment: Proficiency in Unix/Linux and Windows environments.
• Operations: Ability to operate effectively under tight regulatory deadlines and provide on-call support (overnight/weekends) when required.
