Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Operations Manager to oversee the daily functions of a specialized 5 Axis CNC machining shop. The ideal candidate will lead the team for Programming improvements, ensure quality standards, and optimize manufacturing workflows. This role requires strong CNC 5 Axis Back ground, expertise in Aerospace Industry , and a focus on continuous improvement to drive operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all aspects of the CNC shop operations, including production scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.
• Implement and maintain lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Oversee quality control processes to ensure products meet strict specifications and client expectations
• Lead process improvement initiatives by analyzing current procedures and identifying opportunities for enhancement.
• Monitor supply chain activities to ensure timely procurement of materials and components.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote a culture of continuous improvement among staff.
• Develop training programs for staff on new processes, machinery, or quality standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing operations within a manufacturing environment, preferably with CNC machining or precision engineering.
• Strong CNC Operating and Programming of CNC machines, tooling, and manufacturing processes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing methodologies.
• Knowledge of quality control standards and techniques in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience in supply chain management, including procurement and inventory control.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Pay: $75,000.00-$111,188.85 per year
