Final Quality Inspector – Casting Division Location: Aurangabad, Maharashtra Department: Quality Assurance / Quality Control Experience: 1–5 Years Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Final Quality Inspector for our Casting Division. The candidate will be responsible for final inspection of casting components, ensuring all products meet customer specifications and quality standards before dispatch. Key Responsibilities Perform final inspection of casting parts before dispatch. Identify casting defects such as hard flash, burr, blow holes, porosity, crack, mismatch, dent marks, and short filling. Conduct visual and dimensional inspection as per drawings and control plans. Use measuring instruments like Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, and Thread Gauge. Maintain inspection reports and rejection records. Segregate OK, Rework, Rejection, and Hold materials properly. Ensure compliance with customer quality requirements. Coordinate with Production and Quality teams for defect control and corrective actions. Follow safety standards and 5S practices on shop floor. Required Skills Knowledge of casting inspection and casting defects. Ability to read engineering drawings. Basic knowledge of measuring instruments. Good observation and problem-solving skills. Basic computer knowledge for report handling. Preferred Candidate Experience in Aluminum / Pressure Die Casting industry preferred. Experience in final inspection and customer quality requirements. Ability to work in rotational shifts.
