Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Control Chemist located in Kolkata. The Quality Control Chemist will conduct routine and non-routine testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications. Responsibilities will include the operation, calibration, and maintenance of laboratory equipment, analysis and documentation of test results, preparation of lab reports, and maintaining adherence to safety and quality standards. The role requires collaboration with Quality Assurance and Production teams to address any deviations or quality concerns.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Quality Control principles and practices, including testing and documentation
• Strong Laboratory Skills, such as sample analysis and chemical testing
• Excellent Analytical Skills for interpreting data and resolving quality issues
• Experience with Laboratory Equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of Calibration processes and ensuring accuracy in measurements
• Attention to detail and solid problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry or related field
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards is a plus

Experience

B.Pharm / M.Sc. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry.

Experience: Candidate should have at least 5 years experience at management level in Manufacturing/Quality control & formulation.
