Quality Inspector

Incoming Inspection:

• Shredded Materials: Visual inspection of the incoming ferrous scraps to ensure they meet quality standards in terms of size, thickness, composition, and absence of contaminants.
• Bales: incoming material size, grades, quality etc.

Quality Control Checks:

• Perform detailed quality checks and tests on samples of incoming material to know yield (Ferrous) percentage.
• Utilize tools and equipment such as gauges, scales, and testing devices to conduct physical and chemical analyses.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of inspection results, test data, and any deviations from quality standards.
• Prepare comprehensive reports for management and other relevant departments regarding quality findings and corrective actions.

Defect Identification:

• Identify defects, impurities, or contaminants in incoming materials or bales that could impact quality, usability, or safety.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to address and resolve quality issues promptly.

Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and environmental standards during inspections and handling of ferrous materials.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to quality assurance and quality control in metal recycling operations.

Communication and Collaboration:

• Communicate effectively with operations teams, supervisors, and external stakeholders regarding quality issues, inspection results, and corrective actions.

Qualification:- The candidate should have done diploma in mechanical engineering with al least 2 years of work experience as quality inspector
