Role Overview

We are looking for a high-impact, entrepreneurial logistics leader to own and transform the end-to-end logistics charter for a fast-growing CPG business. This role goes beyond execution — it requires designing scalable logistics systems, driving cost leadership, and delivering best-in-class customer experience across channels.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Logistics Ownership
• Own complete logistics operations across inbound (Supplier → Warehouse), inter-warehouse transfers (IWTs), and outbound / secondary logistics (GT, MT, E-commerce, Quick Commerce)
• Ensure seamless movement of goods across the network with high service levels
• Cost Leadership & Optimization
• Own logistics cost end-to-end and drive best-in-class cost benchmarks
• Identify and execute levers across route optimization, vehicle utilization, and dispatch planning
• Build data-driven cost models and continuously improve cost per unit
• Logistics Transformation & Process Excellence
• Redesign logistics processes to improve speed, reliability, and scalability
• Drive automation and system-led decision making
• Partner & Vendor Management
• Manage large logistics partners and regional transporters
• Lead negotiations, performance management, and SLA governance
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work with Supply Planning, Sales, Warehouse, and Finance teams
• Ensure alignment between demand, supply, and execution
• Performance & SLA Management
• Track KPIs like cost per unit, OTIF, and transit TAT
• Drive accountability across teams and partners

Requirements

• 4–8 years of experience in logistics / supply chain
• Strong exposure to end-to-end logistics
• Proven cost optimization and process improvement experience
• Experience with 3PLs and multi-node networks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Background

• MBA from Tier 1 / Tier 2 institutes
• Engineering background is a plus
