Your role will involve performing detailed site audits, optimizing meta titles and descriptions, managing SEO postings, and implementing various strategies to enhance search visibility. At Purplechalk, you will be working hands-on across multiple D2C and lifestyle brands, mastering site audits, GEO optimization, and AI-powered search visibility. Your proactive and analytical approach will be key to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed site audits to identify technical and on-page improvement opportunities
- Optimize meta titles, descriptions, headers, and URLs for better rankings and CTR
- Manage SEO postings, directory listings, and local citations across relevant platforms
- Handle robots.txt setup, sitemap submissions, and indexation monitoring via Google Search Console
- Implement schema markups, structured data, and AI/AEO search listings for better visibility
- Work on GEO and local SEO to improve regional and global discoverability
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and backlink tracking
- Monitor SEO metrics and generate periodic performance reports
- Collaborate with content, design, and web teams to execute SEO strategies
- Explore and leverage AI tools for keyword clustering, meta generation, and insights
Qualifications Required:
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in SEO, analytics, or web optimization
- Understanding of SEO fundamentals, site audits, GEO targeting, and keyword strategy
- Familiarity with robots.txt, schema markups, and Google tools (Analytics, Search Console, etc.)
