Duties

• Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm and professionalism
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend specials, and upsell items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Ensure food safety and proper handling by adhering to sanitation protocols and food industry regulations
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and supporting kitchen staff during busy hours
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive dining experience

Requirements

• Proven experience as a server in fine dining or high-volume restaurant settings
• Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly
• Experience with OpenTable or other reservation management tools is a plus
• Knowledge of the food industry including culinary techniques, food preparation, and beverage service
• Previous host/hostess or nightclub serving experience is advantageous
• Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and bill splitting
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
