<p><strong>Job Overview</strong></p>
<p>Pulse is recruiting an experienced Specialist Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist to join the Children’s Community Therapy Service based at Green Wrythe Lane, within the Epsom & St Helier service. This role is ideal for clinicians with strong paediatric experience, particularly in dysphagia, complex communication needs, and AAC.</p>
<p>You will work as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, delivering high‑quality assessment and intervention for children with a wide range of developmental and complex needs across community clinics, homes, and educational settings.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Provide specialist assessment and intervention for children with: – Dysphagia – Complex communication needs – AAC requirements</li>
<li>Manage a varied paediatric caseload across community settings</li>
<li>Work collaboratively with families, schools, and MDT colleagues</li>
<li>Contribute to service development and pathway improvement</li>
<li>Provide supervision and support to junior SLTs and assistants</li>
<li>Maintain accurate, high‑quality clinical documentation</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Requirements</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>HCPC‑registered Speech & Language Therapist</li>
<li>Strong paediatric clinical experience</li>
<li>Skills in <strong>dysphagia</strong>, <strong>complex needs</strong>, and/or <strong>AAC</strong></li>
<li>Ability to work independently within a community setting</li>
<li>Excellent communication and MDT collaboration skills</li>
<li>Experience supervising junior staff (desirable)</li>
</ul>
