Sensory Integration Qualified Occupational Therapist

Location: King’s Lynn
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 4 days per week (flexible working considered)

We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a Sensory Integration (SI) qualified Occupational Therapist to join our brand-new specialist school, in King’s Lynn. This is a unique chance to shape and deliver an innovative OT service within a supportive educational environment dedicated to children with complex needs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist sensory integration assessments and interventions for pupils with sensory processing difficulties.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support functional skills, emotional regulation, and participation in learning.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families to embed sensory strategies into the school day.
  • Deliver training and advice to staff and parents to promote understanding and effective use of sensory approaches.
  • Contribute to the development of a whole-school sensory-friendly environment.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Sensory Integration (essential).
  • Experience working with children and young people with autism, learning disabilities, or complex needs.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Passion for creating inclusive, supportive environments for pupils.
