Locum - Biomedical Scientist in Andrology

Banding: Band 6

Location: Hammersmith Hospital

Working Pattern: Core hours only

Hourly Rate: £25-27

We are currently seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Andrology to join our client’s team in Hammersmith Hospital. This is a full-time, ongoing position working core hours only, offering a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to contribute to a busy and well-established laboratory service.

Key Responsibilities

You will prepare and examine cellular samples from various body sites. You will identify abnormal cells and support cancer screening programmes.

Qualifications and Experience

- HCPC registration

- Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent

- Experience in Andrology within a clinical laboratory

- Experience with cellular sample preparation and analysis

- Strong attention to detail

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

- NHS experience (preferred)
