This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Band 6 clinician looking to provide specialist assessment and rehabilitation for adults with neurological conditions within a community setting.</p> <p data-start="625" data-end="1001">The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality Speech and Language Therapy services to adults presenting with communication and swallowing difficulties following neurological injury or illness. You will work closely within a multi-disciplinary team to support patients in achieving meaningful rehabilitation goals and improving their quality of life.</p> <h2 data-section-id="kw62d4" data-start="1005" data-end="1030">Key Responsibilities</h2> <p data-start="1032" data-end="1879">In this role, you will:<br data-start="1055" data-end="1059">• Provide specialist Speech and Language Therapy services to adults referred to the community neuro rehabilitation service.<br data-start="1182" data-end="1186">• Conduct comprehensive and multi-disciplinary assessments, taking into consideration premorbid abilities, environmental factors, and individual patient needs.<br data-start="1345" data-end="1349">• Deliver differential diagnosis of communication and/or swallowing impairments.<br data-start="1429" data-end="1433">• Develop and implement personalised therapy programmes with clear SMART goals tailored to the patient’s level of understanding, motivation, insight, and support network.<br data-start="1603" data-end="1607">• Support patients with self-management strategies and rehabilitation planning.<br data-start="1686" data-end="1690">• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in line with professional standards.<br data-start="1778" data-end="1782">• Work collaboratively with the wider multi-disciplinary team to deliver holistic patient care.</p> <h2 data-section-id="b1ie9e" data-start="1883" data-end="1917">Qualifications and Experience</h2> <p data-start="1919" data-end="2486">To be considered for this role, you must have:<br data-start="1965" data-end="1969">• A recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent).<br data-start="2038" data-end="2042">• HCPC registration and eligibility for membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT).<br data-start="2156" data-end="2160">• Previous experience working within adult neuro rehabilitation services.<br data-start="2233" data-end="2237">• Experience assessing and managing adults with communication and swallowing difficulties.<br data-start="2327" data-end="2331">• Strong clinical reasoning, assessment, and care planning skills.<br data-start="2397" data-end="2401">• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centred approach.</p> <h2 data-section-id="unkdz2" data-start="2490" data-end="2512">Why Choose Pulse?</h2> <p data-start="2514" data-end="2868">From the moment you register with Pulse, our focus is entirely on you.
