Job Title: MRI Radiographer

Duration: Until 30 May 2025 (likely to be extended)
Rate: £32.00 per hour at Band 7, £36.00 per hour at Band 8a
Working Hours: Monday – Friday (Long Days)
Our client is seeking experienced and highly skilled MRI Radiographers at Band 7 and Band 8a levels to join our client's team in London. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a leading healthcare facility, contributing to the delivery of advanced diagnostic imaging services. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing high-quality MRI scans, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and supporting the wider radiology team in delivering efficient and effective care.
What will your responsibilities be:
The role involves performing a wide range of MRI examinations using state-of-the-art equipment, ensuring all procedures are carried out in accordance with clinical protocols and safety standards. Radiographers will be expected to assess image quality, manage patient care during procedures, and maintain accurate records. Band 8a candidates may also be involved in supervising junior staff, coordinating workflow, and contributing to service development initiatives. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively are essential.
Qualifications and Experience:
- HCPC registration as a Radiographer
- Extensive experience in MRI scanning across a variety of clinical areas
- Proven ability to work with advanced MRI systems and protocols
- Strong understanding of MRI safety and patient care standards
- Experience in NHS or equivalent hospital settings
- For Band 8a: leadership experience and ability to supervise and support junior staff
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
