Electrical Journeyman

Role Summary:

We are seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join our team on various construction projects. You will install electrical systems on industrial projects/sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install electrical systems, equipment, and components.
• Interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Ensure all work complies with electrical code, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Test electrical systems using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Collaborate with other trades and contractors on job sites.
• Complete documentation, work orders, and reports as required.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Valid JourneymanElectrician Certificate (Red Seal certification preferred).
• Minimum of 2years of experience in industrial construction electrical work.
• Valid H2S Alive, Fall Protection, AWP/EMP, Standard First Aid (Level A or C with CPR/AED), and CSTS 2020.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and OH&S requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Proficient with hand tools, testing devices, and electrical equipment.
• Valid Driver's Licence
• Ability to work in various environments, including heights, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Rate: $44 per hour
• Shift: 14 on and 7 off, 10 hour days
• Travel Allowance: 4 hours paid travel
• Accommodations: Camp Provided
• Overtime opportunities paid at 1.5x the regular hourly rate.
