Job description

Seeking a licensed attorney with 5–10 years of sophisticated transactional legal experience to support complex structured financial transactions. The ideal candidate will have experience with a reputable law firm and/or in-house legal team and a strong background in structured finance, secured finance, corporate/M&A, real estate finance, capital markets, or other complex financial transactions.

Responsibilities

Support complex financial transactions from due diligence through closing.
Review, draft, and negotiate transaction documents, amendments, and related agreements.
Coordinate closings and manage transaction documentation.
Maintain legal records and transaction databases.
Collaborate with internal attorneys, business partners, and external counsel.

Qualifications

JD and active Bar license in good standing (DC Bar accepted).
5–10 years of transactional legal experience.
Strong experience with structured finance, secured finance, corporate/M&A, real estate finance, capital markets, or similar complex financial transactions.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
