As a Data Analyst in Treasury Mid office at Propelld, you will play a crucial role in gathering, analyzing, and presenting data-driven insights to optimize product offerings, streamline operations, and enhance customer experience. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Performing data collection, cleaning, and analysis of large datasets from various sources such as loan performance, customer data, financial transactions, and treasury operations.
  • Utilizing Excel for advanced data analysis, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros, and complex formulas to generate valuable insights.
  • Building and maintaining automated reports and interactive dashboards to track key financial metrics using Excel and Tableau.
  • Supporting decision-making processes by providing actionable insights and trends derived from data, with a focus on financial and treasury-related information.
  • Collaborating with product, marketing, and operations teams to improve business performance through data-backed recommendations.
  • Conducting A/B testing and statistical analysis to evaluate the impact of business experiments and initiatives.
  • Using SQL for querying databases to extract and manipulate data efficiently.
  • Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and quality through validation and best practices, with a specific focus on treasury and financial data.
  • Presenting findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior management.

Qualifications required for this role include:

  • MBA/CA/CFA or Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Treasury / Data Analyst, preferably in a fintech or NBFC environment.
  • Strong expertise in Excel for data analysis and reporting, including advanced functions like pivot tables, macros, and formula-based analysis, especially with financial and treasury data.
  • Experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex datasets and provide actionable insights, particularly in financial contexts.
  • Experience with financial numbers and treasury operations is a primary requirement.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting data-driven insights to cross-functional teams.
