Systems - Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer Corporate IT Tier 3

$175,000/yr MUST: Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer (Corporate IT Tier 3)

5+ years of professional IT engineering experience

3+ years of Tier 3 escalation support in hybrid cloud/on-prem enterprise environments

Strong expertise in Azure (Enterprise, Intune, Sentinel, Exchange, SharePoint)

Experience with VMware hypervisors and Azure Local environments

Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Windows endpoints, and Linux administration

Experience with Palo Alto firewalls (log analysis, rule creation, segmentation)

Strong routing & switching knowledge

Experience integrating SaaS platforms (e.g., Jira, Teams, SSO integrations)

Tenacious problem-solver who can independently troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues / Team-oriented technical leader

Highly accountable and comfortable operating in high-visibility environments

Microsoft certifications (Azure, Security, or Endpoint preferred)

Relevant networking or security certifications (preferred)

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)

DUTIES

Serve as Tier 3 escalation point for cloud, infrastructure, endpoint, and network-related issues

Troubleshoot and remediate Microsoft Intune application deployment failures (e.g., Adobe Pro), test deployments, and push updates to production baselines

Analyze Palo Alto firewall logs to resolve blocked traffic between network segments; test, publish, and document rule changes

Patch and maintain on-prem VMware hypervisors (Azure Local headless Windows installs)

Partner with Tier 1 Incident Response to hunt, triage, quarantine endpoints, and coordinate secure endpoint provisioning

Collaborate with ISO 20k / ISO 27k compliance teams to update risk registers, security controls documentation, and remediation tracking

Support SaaS platform integrations and identity/security alignment across enterprise systems

Provide technical leadership across corporate IT initiatives while leveraging third-party vendors as needed
