About the Company

A scale‑up that has spent the last two years making advanced legal reasoning accessible through natural language. The platform combines search, vector databases and large language models to provide lawyers with instant access to case law and legislation. We’re now expanding rapidly: adding a legal research casebase, agentic workflows, legal practice management and Microsoft Word integrations to create an all‑in‑one legal workplace platform with the AI capabilities. To help us achieve this, we’re looking for a Senior Product Designer who can act autonomously while working closely with the founder, marketers and developers.

Responsibilities

Product Design:

· Lead end-to-end design for new product areas, from discovery and information architecture to polished UI and interaction details.

· Build and evolve a scalable design system covering components, patterns, typography, spacing, states, and accessibility principles.

· Translate complex legal and AI-assisted workflows into clean, efficient user journeys for research, drafting, and practice management.

· Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for desktop-first B2B SaaS experiences.

· Partner closely with the founder and engineers to define product requirements, evaluate trade-offs, and ship high-quality features.

· Use user feedback, product intuition, and lightweight research to improve usability, adoption, and task completion.

· Maintain strong design quality through implementation reviews and close handoff collaboration with developers.

Requirements

· 7-10 years of professional B2B software / B2B SAAS product design experience.

· Strong portfolio showing end-to-end product thinking, interaction design, visual craft, and shipped work.

· High proficiency in Figma, including components, auto layout, prototyping, and design system workflows.

· Experience designing for complex software products such as SaaS, AI tools, research platforms, workflow systems, or enterprise applications.

· Ability to work with high autonomy, prioritize independently, and move from ambiguity to execution.

· Strong communication skills and comfort presenting rationale, incorporating feedback, and collaborating cross-functionally.

· Ability to use AI tools thoughtfully to accelerate research, content exploration, iteration, and production workflows.

· Willingness to work in person with the team in Bengaluru.

Bonus skills (nice‑to‑haves)

· Experience building legal knowledge systems or search engines.

· Previous work on legal tech, fintech or enterprise SaaS products.
