Role Overview
We are looking for a Cloud Security Architect (GCP) with strong expertise in securing business applications on Google Cloud. The role focuses on embedding security-by-design principles, enabling secure architectures, and supporting strategic cloud transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Security Architecture & Design
Perform security design reviews for GCP-based applications
Define secure architecture patterns using:
IAM
VPC
GKE
Cloud Storage
Implement Zero Trust / BeyondCorp security principles
Business Collaboration
Act as a security advisor to business units
Work closely with:
Developers
Cloud engineers
Architects
Translate security requirements into practical solutions
GCP Security Governance
Implement and maintain security guardrails in GCP
Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards
Support migration strategies to OCI
Risk & Compliance
Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments
Ensure adherence to security frameworks and policies
DevSecOps Integration
Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
Support container & Kubernetes security (GKE)
Enable automated security testing and controls
Required Skills
Strong experience in GCP Security (IAM, SCC, VPC Service Controls)
Expertise in Application & API Security
Hands-on experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
Knowledge of Zero Trust / BeyondCorp model
Experience in DevSecOps practices
