Junior Data Analyst:

On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Junior Data Analyst for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Junior Data Analyst - Job Description:

The Junior Data Analyst will be part of the Business Management team supporting the B2B portfolio. The role involves data analysis, record keeping, and reporting to meet various business needs. This is a business-as-usual (BAU) project focusing on data validation and analysis to support business management reporting requirements.

Junior Data Analyst - Responsibilities:

• Support the B2B portfolio with data analysis and reporting
• Perform data validation and analysis to meet business reporting needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and document findings
• Engage in stakeholder and relationship management
• Utilize advanced Microsoft Office 365 tools, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI
• Ensure accuracy and data integrity in reporting and documentation

Junior Data Analyst - Mandatory Skills:

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Excel and PowerBI
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Eagerness to learn new systems and business processes
• Attention to detail and focus on data integrity
• Experience with large data sets and process improvement

Junior Data Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:

• MIS reporting and automation experience
• Experience in the banking/financial industry

Junior Data Analyst – Assignment Length:

This is a 6-month contract position with the possibility of extension.
