Full Stack Developer:

On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Full Stack Developer for a 7-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Full Stack Developer - Job Description:

This role involves working on the Integrated Data Pipeline project within the AI Platform department, which operates in an Agile/Scrum environment. The focus is on experimentation, automation, and building production-grade data solutions.

Full Stack Developer - Responsibilities:

Work within an Agile product team to design, develop, and maintain data ingestion flows.
Evolve the platform to orchestrate data ingestion flows.
Contribute towards creating intuitive, robust, and reusable back-end components using modern frameworks.
Gather functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Interface with other engineers, project managers, business analysts, and end users.
Collaborate with team members on resolving technical issues, improving current products, and developing new features.

Full Stack Developer - Mandatory Skills:

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Python and Java.
Hands-on experience with relational databases: Postgres, MySQL, or SQL Server.
Experience with at least one web application framework, such as FastAPI, Flask, or SpringBoot.
Experience with building/using REST APIs and designing microservices.
Basic development experience with at least one front-end framework: Angular, Vue, or React.
Basic understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript.
Native/Fluent English proficiency (written, verbal, and reading comprehension).

Full Stack Developer – Nice-to-Have Skills:

Experience with Big Data technologies used for ETL: Spark, Yarn, Hive, Hadoop, Snowflake, DBT.
Experience with Scala programming language.
Experience with workflow management tools like Apache Airflow.
Experience with Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Automated Testing tools, Git, or similar tools.
Experience with Docker/Kubernetes/Containers.

This is a 7-month contract position.
