The Prince George's Arts & Humanities Council (PGAHC) is the legislative arts agency of Prince George’s County dedicated to advancing arts, culture, and humanities. If you have great customer service skills with a love for the arts and humanities, this role is for YOU!
Position Summary:
The Arts'tination Coordinator's primary responsibility will be to ensure that the Arts'tination location is open and operational, ready to engage with the community and while effectively supporting PGAHC's mission.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage the daily activities of PGAHC Arts’tination gallery
- Open the gallery and perform walk-thru procedure
- Secure the gallery and perform close out walk-thru procedure
- Assist Artist with setup and sales
- Manage sales transaction and inventory
- Assist with in store programming activities
- Manage Social Media platforms for Arts’tination
- Draft and submit daily log of operations
Requirements
- Associate's degree preferred or high school diploma
- 1-2 years, retail experience required
- Strong team player with a commitment to promoting PGAHC's mission and strategic goals
- Self-motivated, confident, and capable of working with minimal supervision
- Proficient in collaborating with individuals from diverse backgrounds and experience levels
- Effective communicator with confident public speaking abilities and adeptness in expressing ideas verbally and in writing
