Job Description
Title: Power Plant Operator
Location: Richmond, VA area
Pay: $35 - $50/hr, OT, 8% bonus, 401k, PTO, Health

In this role you will be part of day to day operations for a plant performing daily rounds, water chemistry, preventative maintenance, start up/shut down of equipment and working on qualifying on different parts of the facility. Job Responsibilities:
- Start up and shut down power generation equipment including but not limited to: turbines, boilers, pumps, water systems, steam systems.
- Work with maintenance department during preventative maintenance and outage scenarios.
- Check own work as well as others work throughout the facility.
- Work with CRO and Shift Supervisor t to ensure plant viability.
- Progress in training to run the boards.
- Have a strong understanding of emissions requirements and adhere to regulatory requirement while operating facility.
- 3+ years of experience in a power plant or heavy industrial setting or Navy experience
