Online French Teacher (Grades 1–8)

Primroses Global Academy is seeking a passionate, dynamic, and experienced French Teacher to teach students in Grades 2 to 5 through engaging online classes.

We are looking for educators who can make French learning interactive, enjoyable, and confidence-building for young learners in North American time zones.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct online French classes for Grades 2 to 5 students.
• Teach French vocabulary, speaking, listening, reading, and basic writing skills.
• Conduct trial/demo classes to showcase the value of our programs to potential students.
• Provide personalized academic support, tailoring lessons to individual student needs.
• Collaborate with the academic team to enhance lesson plans and teaching materials.
• Prepare and share lesson plans, worksheets, and digital learning resources.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support development.
• Communicate effectively with students and parents regarding progress and areas for improvement.
• Teach up to 5–6 students at a time, adapting lessons to different learning levels.
• Complete post-lesson notes and daily student communication updates.
• Create interactive and fun learning experiences that motivate students.
• Help students build confidence, self-esteem, and communication skills.
• Participate in ongoing training, feedback sessions, and professional development opportunities.
• Maintain punctuality, professionalism, and consistency in all classes.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in French language (DELF certification is an asset).
• Ability to teach native English-speaking students.
• Strong digital literacy – comfortable with Google Meet/Zoom, MS Office, and online teaching tools.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Patient, energetic, and child-friendly teaching approach.
• Reliable internet connection, laptop, and headset.

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring primary or middle school students (ages 5–14) (online experience preferred).
• Experience teaching French as a Second Language (FSL / French Immersion preferred).
• Ability to teach both online and in-person classes.
• Previous online teaching experience is a must.

Additional Requirement

• Must be available to work during US/Canada hours and weekends.
