Procurement Specialist – Electrical & Electronic Components
Location: Bhosari, Pune / Pimpri-Chinchwad Area

Role Summary
The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, vendor coordination, and procurement planning for electrical and electronic components used in EV charging stations, solar systems, and related products. This role requires strong market understanding, vendor management skills, negotiation ability, and coordination with production and project teams to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, lead, and execute procurement and buying strategies for electrical and electronic components
Source quality products directly from manufacturers, sellers, and local markets
Identify and develop new vendors as per changing market requirements
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules
Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) and maintain procurement records
Calculate material requirements based on orders and production needs
Coordinate with production, and project teams for material planning
Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and component availability
Handle vendor communication and issue resolution professionally
Visit supplier markets and vendor locations, as required
Maintain procurement documentation with proper formatting
Support inventory planning and material tracking activities
Required Qualifications
Education
Graduate in any discipline (Engg background preferred not mandatory)
Diploma holders with relevant procurement experience may also apply
Experience
1–5 years in procurement, sourcing, purchase, or vendor mgmt preferred
Freshers with strong communication skills and learning attitude may also be considered
Skills & Competencies
Mandatory
Good understanding of electrical & electronic components
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
Knowledge of industrial procurement processes
Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel
Communication skills in English, Hindi, and Marathi
Strong analytical and calculation skills
Market sourcing and procurement coordination
Preferred
Exp in EV charging, electronics, electrical, solar, or manufacturing industry
Understanding of BOM (Bill of Materials) and material planning
Exp with electrical wholesalers and component suppliers
Familiarity with production support and inventory coordination
Desired Qualities
Hardworking, committed, and detail-oriented
Flexible with timings and available on call when required
Ability to work independently and within a team
Willingness to travel locally for vendor visits and market sourcing
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
