About the Role

PR 24x7 is looking for an experienced, strategic, and result-oriented Public Relations (PR) Manager to lead client communication, media engagement, and team operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, an extensive media network, and a proven track record of managing high-value client accounts and successful public relations campaigns.

This role requires a professional who can balance strategic planning with execution excellence while mentoring teams and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities1. Team Leadership & Management

• Lead, supervise, and coordinate the Public Relations team to achieve business and client objectives.
• Assign responsibilities, monitor deliverables, and ensure timely execution of projects.
• Establish performance standards and drive accountability across the team.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performance, and growth-oriented work environment.
• Conduct regular team reviews, training sessions, and performance evaluations.

2. Client Relationship Management

• Manage and nurture long-term relationships with key clients.
• Understand client objectives, business challenges, and communication requirements.
• Develop customized PR and media strategies aligned with client goals.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for client communications and issue resolution.
• Ensure high levels of client satisfaction, retention, and account growth.

3. Team Mentoring & Development

• Guide and mentor PR Executives, Senior Executives, and Account Managers.
• Provide strategic direction for campaign planning and execution.
• Support team members in handling complex media and client situations.
• Identify skill gaps and implement training initiatives for professional development.

4. Media Relations & Press Release Management

• Oversee the drafting, editing, approval, and dissemination of press releases.
• Ensure timely and targeted distribution across relevant media platforms.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, influencers, and media stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for earned media coverage and thought leadership positioning.
• Monitor media engagement and maximize positive coverage for clients.

5. Campaign Planning & Execution

• Develop and execute integrated public relations campaigns.
• Plan media outreach programs, press conferences, interviews, and corporate events.
• Monitor campaign performance and deliver comprehensive reports to clients and management.
• Ensure all PR activities align with brand objectives, timelines, and communication strategies.
• Coordinate with digital, content, creative, and client servicing teams for seamless execution.

Additional Responsibilities

• Develop strategic media engagement plans and communication frameworks.
• Identify emerging trends, opportunities, and industry developments.
• Track media coverage, sentiment analysis, and campaign effectiveness.
• Prepare detailed analytical reports and strategic recommendations.
• Lead crisis communication and reputation management initiatives when required.
• Represent the organization and clients at industry events and networking opportunities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Master's Degree in Communications, Marketing, or Management will be an added advantage.

• Proven experience in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, or Agency Leadership.
• Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
