Account Executive – Consulting (ServiceNow)
About the Role
We are building the sales function from the ground up at Positronix.
As an Account Executive, you will own the full sales cycle for our consulting services from pipeline creation to deal closure. This includes both project-based engagements and staff augmentation, especially in the early stages.
This role requires balancing growth and discipline: generating revenue while ensuring every deal is realistic, scoped correctly, and deliverable.
What You’ll Do
- Build pipeline from scratch through outbound, referrals, and partner channels
- Prospect companies and partners that need support with enterprise systems or workflow platforms
- Lead discovery conversations to understand business problems, impact, budget, and urgency
- Qualify rigorously and disengage from low-quality opportunities
- Position Positronix as a practical, execution-focused consulting partner
- Work with the technical team to shape solutions based on validated requirements
- Own proposals, commercials, and scope definition across both project and staffing engagements
- Lead pricing discussions and negotiations with a focus on maintaining healthy margins
- Close deals and drive account growth by expanding initial engagements into repeat business
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in B2B, consulting, or services sales
- Ability to manage deals end-to-end (pipeline → discovery → closure)
- Strong discovery and qualification skills
- Experience working with cross-functional or technical teams
- Comfort with pricing, negotiation, and commercial discussions
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to enterprise software or workflow platforms
- Prior experience in consulting or staff augmentation sales
- Familiarity with ITSM or ServiceNow concepts
How You’ll Be Measured
- Pipeline coverage (3x–4x of target)
- Qualified discovery conversations
- Closed revenue (projects and staffing)
- Deal quality (margin / pricing discipline)
- Repeat business and account expansion
What to Expect
- You will build pipeline from zero
- Early revenue will often come from smaller engagements and staffing deals
- Larger deals will take longer to close
- You are expected to validate internally before making commitments
