We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Field Service Technician with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects from inception to completion, overseeing all aspects including timing, concept, feasibility, construction and engineering changes.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive site reports, expense reports, and timesheets to the respective departments.
- Accurately evaluate products for maintenance, warranty, upgrades, and other purposes.
- Work closely with Engineers to develop and enhance racking designs and control costs.
- Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine appropriate solutions.
- Provide exceptional service and customer support during field visits or dispatches.
- Manage on-site installation, repair, maintenance, testing tasks, training, and commissioning.
- Produce timely and detailed service reports.
- Operate vehicles safely and adhere to all on-site safety rules, protocols, and company procedures.
- Cooperate with the technical team and share information across the organization.
- Comprehend customer requirements and provide appropriate recommendations/briefings.
- Build positive relationships with customers and stay updated on their requirements, communicating relevant information to the team.
- Proficiently use Microsoft Office programs for efficient documentation and communication.
- Approach each day and challenge with a positive attitude and conduct oneself in a professional manner when giving or receiving feedback/information, whether positive or constructive.
- Adhere to all Health and Safety programs in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA). Follow and ensure the company’s safety procedures and regulations are observed in the assigned area.
- Ability to travel to project sites.
- Arrive at work as scheduled each day.
- Other duties as required to support the team and business needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Field Service Technician.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
- Strong project management skills.
