Role and Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Member Services Associate who will represent our core values and provide an outstanding experience for members, guests, and prospective members. As the first point of contact in the club, you will help foster the positive and supportive atmosphere that defines Planet Fitness. Key responsibilities include:

• Welcome members, guests, and prospective members with friendly, professional customer service
• Manage front desk operations, including answering phones, checking in members, registering new members, and conducting club tours
• Update and maintain member accounts accurately
• Address member questions or concerns promptly and escalate issues when necessary
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized club environment

Required Skills and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Basic computer skills
• Passion for fitness, health, and helping others
• Positive, friendly, and upbeat attitude
• Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic
• Outstanding customer service skills with a focus on exceeding member expectations
• Excellent listening, empathy, and problem-solving abilities
• Professional communication and demeanor at all times

Physical Demands:

• Standing and walking throughout the shift
• Frequent speaking in person or on the phone
• Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Occasional exposure to cleaning chemicals
