Guest Services Representative

Role and Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Guest Services Representative to reflect our core values and provide an outstanding experience for members, guests, and prospective members. As the first point of contact at the club, you will help cultivate the positive and supportive atmosphere Planet Fitness is known for. Responsibilities include:

• Welcome members, guests, and prospective members with friendly, professional service
• Manage front desk tasks, including answering phones, checking in members, registering new members, and conducting club tours
• Accurately update and maintain member accounts
• Respond to member questions and concerns promptly, escalating issues when necessary
• Assist in keeping the club clean, organized, and inviting

Required Skills and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum age of 18 years
• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Basic computer skills
• Passion for fitness, wellness, and helping others
• Positive, approachable, and energetic demeanor
• Dependable, punctual, and strong work ethic
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on exceeding expectations
• Strong listening, empathy, and problem-solving abilities
• Professional communication and conduct at all times

Physical Demands:

• Standing and walking throughout the shift
• Frequent verbal communication in person or over the phone
• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Periodic exposure to cleaning chemicals
