Our client, a renowned construction firm, is seeking a diligent and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee operations at various commercial construction projects in and around Dehradun, Uttarakhand, IN . This role is essential for ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for managing on-site activities, coordinating labor and subcontractors, and ensuring adherence to all building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of construction processes, and excellent problem-solving abilities. This position requires a hands-on approach and the ability to effectively manage multiple aspects of a construction site.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities, including managing daily work schedules. Direct and manage subcontractors, ensuring work is performed according to project plans and specifications. Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations, implementing safety protocols and conducting regular safety inspections. Monitor project progress, identify potential delays or issues, and implement corrective actions promptly. Maintain quality control throughout the construction process, ensuring work meets established standards. Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress and quality of work. Manage site resources, including materials, equipment, and labor. Maintain accurate daily logs, progress reports, and safety documentation. Liaise with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to address concerns and provide updates. Ensure site cleanliness, organization, and compliance with environmental regulations. Resolve on-site conflicts and issues efficiently and professionally. Oversee the proper use and maintenance of construction equipment and tools. Qualifications:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role on commercial construction projects. Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, and project management principles. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction documents. Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines. Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. Experience with project management software is a plus. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to different project sites as needed.
