Our client is looking for a compassionate and experienced Senior Social Worker to lead critical community outreach programs. This vital role involves direct engagement with vulnerable populations, providing essential support, and connecting individuals and families with necessary resources. You will be responsible for assessing client needs, developing individualized care plans, and advocating for their rights and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of social services, mental health support, and community resources available in the Bhopal region. As a Senior Social Worker, you will mentor junior staff, supervise interns, and contribute to program development and evaluation. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive needs assessments for individuals and families. Develop and implement individualized service plans to address client needs. Provide direct case management services, including counseling and support. Connect clients with appropriate community resources and services (healthcare, education, housing, etc.). Advocate for clients' rights and access to essential services. Facilitate group sessions, workshops, and community awareness programs. Respond to crisis situations and provide immediate intervention and support. Maintain accurate and confidential client records and documentation. Collaborate with other social service agencies, government bodies, and community organizations. Mentor junior social workers and supervise social work interns. Participate in program planning, development, and evaluation. Qualifications: Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in social work, with significant experience in community outreach and case management. Strong knowledge of social welfare policies, mental health principles, and community resources. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills. Proficiency in crisis intervention techniques and motivational interviewing. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Empathy, patience, and a strong commitment to social justice. Experience in program development and evaluation is a plus. Fluency in local languages is advantageous. Valid professional license or certification in social work.
