Job Description
Our client, a prestigious hospitality group known for its exquisite boutique properties, is seeking an experienced Senior Hotel Operations Manager to oversee operations at their establishment in Indore, Madhya Pradesh . This is a hands-on role that requires a strong presence on-site to ensure the highest standards of guest service, operational efficiency, and staff management. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the hotel, ensuring seamless service delivery across all departments including front office, F&B, housekeeping, and maintenance. Responsibilities
Oversee all hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and security, ensuring exceptional guest experiences. Manage and develop the hotel's operational teams, fostering a culture of service excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction. Manage departmental budgets, control costs, and optimize revenue generation across all hotel services. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities and services to maintain quality standards. Handle guest complaints and feedback promptly and professionally, resolving issues to ensure guest loyalty. Collaborate with the General Manager on strategic planning, marketing initiatives, and capital expenditure projects. Manage vendor relationships and ensure the timely procurement of supplies and services. Train and mentor new staff members, providing ongoing development opportunities for the team. Uphold the brand standards and unique character of our boutique properties. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus. Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in hotel operations management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Proven track record of successfully managing multiple hotel departments. Strong understanding of hotel operations, including front office systems, F&B management, and housekeeping standards. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in hotel management software and MS Office Suite. Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, control costs, and drive profitability. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
